Inserting Hyperlink to a Slide

The fastest way to create a basic web hyperlink on a SmartTutor 360 slide is to press Enter after you type the address of an existing webpage (such as http://www.example.com).

You can link to a webpage, or you can link to a new resource or a place in a existing resouce.

Link to a website

  1. Select the text or shape that you want to use as a hyperlink.
  2. Go to Home tab on the ribbon, select Font group > Insert Hyperlink button.
  3. Select Type Url to add a Web Page  , and add the:
    • Text to display: Type the text that you want to appear as hyperlink.
    • Url Address: If you haven’t already selected a location above, insert the URL for the web site you want to link to.
  4. Select OK

Link to a resource file

  1. Select the text or shape that you want to use as a hyperlink.
  2. Go to Home tab on the ribbon, select Font group > Insert Hyperlink button.
  3. Select Type : Resource and add the:
    • Text to display: Type the text that you want to appear as hyperlink.
    • Resouce Address: select a resource file from media library or link to a file on your computer
  4. Select OK
